Nilandhoo is enveloped by the beautiful sparkling waters of the Indian Ocean, where females can soak in the sun while donning their bikinis. There is abundant marine life and you can get to see amazing vibrant fish, turtles and mantas.

The island has the second oldest Mosque in the country. It was constructed by Aaasaari Miskiiy when Sultan Ibn Abdullah was in power in the year 1153. The stones used to build it came from the remains of other pre-Islamic constructions.

The Island hasn’t been commercialized, which contributes to its beauty. Out of all the vacationers who visit, only a few are genuinely interested in the local traditions. You can experience the local delicacies; socialize with the inhabitants, who still reside in houses made from coral. Thatch can be seen everywhere.

Guests at Starfish can also opt to explore deserted islands and enjoy the various 5 star resorts nearby. Nilandhoo is 140 km from Male and is located in Faafu Atoll. The isle is one of the 200 inhabited islands of the Maldives and has a population of 1,500 people.
